Our
Biodiversity Improvement Services
Swift
Conservation can improve the biodiversity of your
projects. As well as helping you design in features for Swifts, we
can add features for beneficial insects, arachnids, other invertebrates,
bats, birds of prey, small insectivorous birds
like Wagtails and Black Redstarts, House Martins and Swallows, as
well as
seed-eaters like Finches. Tell us about your project and we'll see
what we can do!
Planning
the Built Environment for Swifts
We
provide advice to local authorities seeking to retain or augment
Swift populations in their buildings. If you need help with saving
Swift nestplaces in old buildings, and getting new ones designed
into new or refurbished buildings, ask us; we can help. We can also advise on how to attract other bird species too.
Swift
Conservation also
advises on Biodiversity Policies and Action Plans (BAP's) and is happy to offer drafted solutions to local
authorities.
See below for a free sample BAP, and an example of a current
Action Plan.
